For some time now, curation has expanded its field of action beyond the mere presentation of objects and opened its doors to broader pedagogical and participatory processes. These processes have enabled a new understanding of concepts such as “exhibition,” “museum,” “curation,” “public,” and “parallel activities.” This unit seeks to move past the exhibition context as such, delving deeper into different interactions with works of art and into pedagogical and mediating processes in which art plays an essential role.
