The conference provides an overview of the life and cinematographic creation of Teo Hernández, the Mexican filmmaker who was part of the French experimental avant-garde during the seventies and eighties of the twentieth century. After a biographical sketch, Álvaro talks about Teo's approach to cinema and his adherence to the super 8 format. Also, the main characteristics of his films, for a long time unknown in Mexico, are discussed.
